The ISTQB® Conference Network brings together conference organizers and testing communities, both local and global.
Events in the network have met ISTQB® Conference Network criteria. They typically offer discounts to ISTQB® certificate holders and ISTQB® Partner Program members.

Organizers in the network can publish their events here, receive ISTQB® social promotion, and use the official ISTQB® Conference Network logo.
Join as an event organizer
Recognition is based on the following criteria:
- The conference or event is in the area of quality assurance and/or software testing.
- For the ISTQB® Academia Conference Network the conference must also include a scientific, academic, or pedagogic specialization.
- The selection of conference presentations is performed via an independent process. As an example, via a public “call for papers”.
- The program includes at least one official ISTQB® presentation which includes a comprehensive overview of ISTQB® and its product portfolio (this could be using the slides that will be provided as part of the ISTQB® Conference Network Package). If possible this should be made by an ISTQB® representative or ISTQB® Member Board representative.
- The conference or event offers a discount on fees to ISTQB® certificate holders. The discount should be clearly visible on the conference website.
- The conference offers a discount to employees of organizations who are ISTQB® Partner Program members. The discount should be clearly visible on the conference website. (Discounts could be tiered for Silver, Gold, Platinum, Global Partner Program membership).
- The conference will include the official ISTQB® Conference Network logo on the conference website/registration pages and where possible in its marketing activities (e.g. social media).
- The conference organizers commit to sending ISTQB® Conference Network a list of top 3 speakers/topics after the conference.
- The conference and its organizer(s) agree that ISTQB® can at its sole discretion restrict admittance to or withdraw participation in the ISTQB® Conference Network without penalty or liability should the conference, its organizers, or its sponsors not align in ISTQB’s view to the overall ISTQB® vision, mission, values and status as a not for profit organization registered in the EU or where the conference conflicts with the status of the local Member Board. The conference and its organizer(s) accept that membership of the ISTQB® Conference Network does not give any guarantees or warranty from ISTQB® in respect to conference attendance or income.
Recommendation
- The conference or event is organized or recognized by an ISTQB® Member Board, ISTQB® Academia Working Group or by the ISTQB® Marketing Working Group.
- The local ISTQB® Member Board will be approached to offer the possibility of a conference presence (e.g. a stand).
The ISTQB® reserves the right to review these rules at any time.
How ISTQB® supports your event
- Post details about the event on the ISTQB® website
- Post news about the event on the ISTQB® social media channels before and after the event, provided that the organizer sends us the material (pictures/videos). Temporarily discontinued until further notice.
- Provide the ISTQB® Conference Network Package, including authorization to use the official ISTQB® International Conference Network logo in order to build visual identification

Pre-conference
The local ISTQB® Member Board has 7 days to recommend the conference. You then receive the decision. After approval, ISTQB® publishes the event on the ISTQB® website.

Post-conference
Share conference-day highlights (photos or video) and the top 3 topics of most interest to attendees. A social recap from that material is temporarily discontinued until further notice.
